This site is published by OwnersFirm, a St. Louis company that builds and runs small reference sites. There is no clinician on this desk and no named author, on purpose. The pages carry a desk byline rather than a person's name because nobody here treats anyone, files a VA claim, or practices law, and we would rather you trusted the links than a face.
New Plan Care is a client of OwnersFirm. The two companies are not commonly owned. New Plan Care is an independently owned non-medical in-home care company based in Chesterfield, Missouri. Its owners are Dave Jansen and Stacie Postol. The company serves Ballwin, Chesterfield, Eureka, Glencoe, Grover, Pacific, Valley Park and St. Louis.
Why it exists
The public VA pages are complete, and they are written for the whole country. What we could not find was a single St. Louis briefing that put the wartime-date table next to Form 21-2680, next to the Missouri Veterans Commission and the St. Louis County Veterans Program, next to the honest sentence that a claim does not put a person in the house tonight. That is the gap. The voice is a briefing, not a brochure. It assumes you have been pitched once and will check every number.
This site is not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. It does not file claims. It does not decide eligibility. It points at the pages and the local offices that do.
The disclosure

What this site is not
It is not a clinic, not a law office, not a match service, and not the VA. Help at home, as these pages use the phrase, is non-medical: company, meals, rides, a reminder that it is time for the tablets already in a labeled box, a person in the house at night. It is not nursing, not therapy, not medicine. Every article that gets near a clinical question has a short section that sends that question to the doctor or the care team. Nobody here can tell you what is wrong with your father, how long he has, or what a symptom means. Nothing on this site is medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment plan.

Every number and every program claim on this site links, in the sentence where it appears, to a public source: VA.gov, eCFR, Medicare.gov, a Missouri government page, or a major nonprofit. Each one was opened and read on the date shown on the sources page. The site quotes the source's own numbers and year rather than rounding them. If a fact could not be sourced, it was cut. There are no composite families, no invented quotes, no reviews and no star ratings anywhere on this desk.
How the site is measured
There is no analytics tag, no pixel and no third-party tracker on any page. Page views are counted on the server, for the publisher, with no client-side script. The one form on the site posts to this domain and nowhere else.
